Throughout Shonen anime, there have been many important groups, such as the Soul Reapers, Z Fighters and Team Urameshi. That said, one of the most well-known and beloved groups in anime history is Naruto's Konoha 11, which consists of eleven shinobi from the Leaf Village who seek to protect it, no matter the cost.

Some of the notable members include Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Rock Lee and Shikamaru Nara. Each member has their own fighting style which ranges from ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu. While some of them went on to achieve great feats, others fell short.

11 Tenten Is The Forgotten Shinobi Of The Konoha 11

Skilled in fuinjutsu, Tenten is able to conjure a variety of weapons with her Summoning Scroll. While her ability allows her to have several weapons in her arsenal, there are downsides to it. In the process of summoning tools, it's time-consuming, which gives the enemy the advantage when it comes to speed.

However, the many weapons she has leaves her enemy unaware of what her fighting style is. During the Konoha Crush mission, she defeated her opponents with a fire demon from her scroll. Fast-forward to Boruto, she opens her own weapons shop. Since her jutsu is barely shown in the series, she lands at the last spot on the list.

10 Hinata Hyuga Never Lived Up To Her Potential

Blessed with the power and status of the Hyuga Clan, Hinata was born with the Byakugan, which gives her x-ray and 360 vision. Her clan practices the Gentle Fist that strikes the chakra points of the opponent. Unfortunately, she fails to live up to her potential and is too timid for the harsh realities of the battlefield.

With the incredible jutsu she was gifted, she rarely uses it and has no impressive feats compared to the rest of Konoha 11. The closest attempt was her trying to protect Naruto against Pain and defending herself against her cousin, Neji, in the Chunin Exams. By Boruto, she has retired from her role as a shinobi and is now a mother and housewife.

Ino's Jutsu Can Control Opponents, But Doesn't Have A Physical Advantage

Even though Ino doesn't excel in physical combat, her jutsu is extremely helpful. She is from the Yamanaka clan who specialize in sensory perception, where she can sense chakra around her and mind reading, which allows her to take over her opponent's body or read their thoughts.

As a part of Team 10, her power works best when combined with her teammates, Shikamaru and Choji. With Shikamaru's Shadow Possession, she can take over the enemy's mind while he locks them in place, creating a clever trap. To protect the Hidden Leaf Village, she serves as a part of the Konoha Barrier Team in Boruto.

8 Kiba Inuzaka And Akamaru Are An Unstoppable Duo

Being a member of the Inuzaka Clan, Kiba has an enhanced sense of smell which helps detect enemies. Coming from a canine clan, his assaults are beast-like and aggressive, with him even using his claws. Usually accompanied by his dog, Akamaru, they make a deadly duo.

Some of their strongest combined attacks are Double-Headed Wolf, where he transforms into a wolf and Fang Over Fang, where the two rotate while attacking their opponent. However, his fighting abilities decrease tremendously without his hound. When Boruto rolls around, he is in the military police force and stays true to his roots by becoming a dog breeder.

7 Shino Aburame's Insects Are His Secret Weapon

When he was born, Shino's body was filled with insects called kikaichu, which is one of the many types that can be put into his body. Growing up, they would feed off his body and, in exchange, he would use them in battle. The bugs would surround the enemy's body and feed off their chakra, granting him an instant victory.

Furthermore, a huge advantage of his jutsu is not having to move a step because his insects do the fighting for him. Also, they aren't affected by genjutsu assaults, and he can create clones of himself with them. Although his ability is so unique, it is rarely shown throughout Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Despite his introverted personality, he goes on to become a teacher in Boruto.

6 Shikamaru Nara's Strength Lies In His Strategic Abilities

Part of Team 10, Shikamaru is led by his mentor, Asuma Sarutobi, with his teammates Ino and Choji. Being in the Nara Clan offers him the skill to control his shadow. With the Shadow Imitation Technique, he can freeze his opponent and make them copy his movements. Similarly to Ino, his jutsu works best with others as a combined attack.

Although Shikamaru doesn't possess physical power, his strength derives from his strategic intelligence, placing him midway on the list. Furthermore, his jutsu isn't the strongest, but he understands how to utilize it to its full potential, which is a big factor in how he defeated the Akatsuki member, Hidan, all on his own. Chosen by the Seventh Hokage, he is Naruto's second-hand man and reports to him about tactical military tactics.

Known for his insatiable appetite, Choji is always munching on chips. In turn, this is beneficial to his jutsu, Calorie Control, which allows him to get bigger by using his calories. When he expands, he becomes a Human Bullet Tank that rolls over anyone in his way essentially like a boulder.

In this form, he can shield his head by tucking it inside his body. He has three pills that he can take to enhance his strength, but taking the red pill is lethal. Aside from Sakura, Naruto and Rock Lee, he is physically the strongest ninja in the Konoha 11. Continuing his clan's legacy in Boruto, his daughter, Chocho, inherits his jutsu of Butterfly Mode.

4 Neji Hyuga Didn't Let Destiny Define Him

Considered a prodigy, Neji had the potential to go down as one of the strongest members of the Hyuga Clan. Since he wasn't born into the main family branch, he was treated poorly and learned the clan's jutsu all on his own. He was quick to master the Gentle Fist and using the Byakugan came to him naturally.

Additionally, he mastered two of the hardest jutsu, the Eight Trigram Rotation and 64 Palms. Used correctly, these jutsu can kill an enemy quickly because striking chakra points effectively immobilizes the body. Sadly, he doesn't make an appearance in Boruto after sacrificing his life for Hinata during the Fourth Great Ninja War.

3 Rock Lee Proves Hard Work Beats Talent

Rock Lee Put His Focus On Taijutsu Since He Couldn't Practice Ninjutsu Or Genjutsu

As a master of taijutsu, Rock Lee thrives in hand-to-hand combat. Unlike other ninjas, he can't use genjutsu or ninjutsu, so he puts all of his focus into refining his taijutsu skills. As a result of his determination and hard work, he was able to stand his ground against Gaara and was the first person to ever break his sand burial with his Hidden Lotus, as well as defeating Sasuke before the Chunin Exams.

At only 12 years old, he was able to open five of the Eight Gates during battle. Morever, his rigorous training by Might Guy leads him to fight while unconscious or in his sleep as if it is second nature to him. When given sake, he becomes unstoppable, as shown in his fight against Kimimaro when he uses Drunken Fist. Taking on the role of his mentor, he trains his son, Metal Lee, on the ways of the battlefield in Boruto.

Nearly every ninja from Konoha 11 was part of a clan except for Sakura. Despite not being gifted with a jutsu at birth, she became a powerhouse through hard work and determination. As a child, she was the smartest student besides Shikamaru. Under Tsunade's training, she learned the skills required to be a medical ninja as well as honing her strength. Not only is she an epic fighter, but she has an incredible battle IQ, which is demonstrated when she created an antidote to Sasori's poision prior to their fight in case she got stung.

Utilizing her Chakra Enhanced Strength, she stores up chakra which she uses to coat her fists and deliver deadly blows. She is able to hold her own against Shin Uchiha in Boruto who possesses the Mangekyo Sharingan. Balancing several things at once, she is a mother, the Head of the Medical Department, the director of Konoha Hospital and a medical ninjutsu teacher. At this point, she even surpassed her mentor, Tsunade, who was a Legendary Sannin.

It's no surprise that the Seventh Hokage is the most powerful out of the Konoha 11. As a baby, he was given the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama, from his mother. Although he was ostracized as a child because of it, he still pursued his dream of becoming the leader of the Leaf Village someday. The dynamic duo work well together since Kurama lends the Naruto during battle.

From defeating Haku and Zabuza to being an integral part in defeating Kaguya, Naruto has won many battles. Some of the forms that he has obtained include Kyuubi Chakra Mode and Six Paths Sage Mode. Even in Boruto, he unlocks Baryon Mode against Isshiki Otsutsuki. As a result of this, he lost Kurama in a fight which got rid of some of his strength. Despite this, he is one of the most legendary ninjas, securing the number one spot on the list.
